Abide by the Rules

If the authority is trying to impose something which is morally, ethically, or technically not correct then it will be completely useless to remain silent. A man with honor and dignity must work towards implementing the changes that he desires, but without compromising his safety or his interests.

If you are strong enough then only engage the opponent from front. If not then implement the tactic of self improvement to gain the required strength. More important is to solve the intended purpose instead of opposing the authority. There is no point in provoking the authority and specially when you are the insignificant one.

Another vidur niti quote says.

A wise man must bend in front of a stronger opponent. This way he gets spared from the harsh treatment.“.

You will contribute more as a soldier alive than as a martyr. Please don’t get me wrong, but I am against false heroism that neither serves the person nor his regime.

Firm determination and secrecy  are the keys to deal with such situations. There might not exist a solution at that moment, but at least you can place your valuable contributions as and when opportunity arrises.

The Conclusion:

  • Be it that way or be it this way in all of the situations you must appear as if you are abiding as per the orders of the authority.
  • Express your conflicting views only when you are sure about having the necessary strength to bear the consequences.
  • There is no valor in stupid act of provoking a stronger opponent.
  • Secrecy serves you well and buys you the necessary time to become stronger.

I am a writer and I was very skeptic about your writing talent, but you are too good at philosophy.

Your practical philosophy is very interesting. May god bless you.
